I want to delete a post I did for the life of me I can't find "the edit button" referred to in the FAQ section. How do I do this? Here is what it says in the FAQ

"To edit or delete your posts, click the button by the post you want to edit. If your post was the first in the thread, then deleting the post may result in the removal of the entire thread."

It is our policy to not permit any member to delete a post. The FAQ is generic to the software, and not specific to our implementation of the software.

In short. You can't delete a post.

But (just so the OP has full info), you can delete the content of the post (as opposed to the post itself) so long as you edit it within 24 hours, right? The "edit" button is available for that period of time, I believe, but no longer. Is this correct?

Yes, but we do not want people to delete the content of their posts. So, this is NOT something that we encourage in any way.

The Edit button is for editing your post. Not to delete it.
