garytelecastor May 18th, 2012, 05:29 AM I absolutely love these guys.
If I could have my ideal band, this would be it.
They were so tight, David Grissom just makes my jaw drop, Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton, David Holt on guitar-amazing, and Malford Milligan on vocals.
These guys gave me chills on their CD's not to mention their presence live.
We have guys and gals here from Austin. Do they still play down there?
Anyway, I was thinking about this due to the build thread. There were a lot of different tastes in music that the builders used to demonstrate their guitars, and yet they are all teles. Kind of got me thinking.
So if you could have your ideal band...what would you have?

Actually, I'm fortunate in that I've been playing with my ideal band for over 30 years.
Andy, Tim, & Orlando, (and for some reason they've kept me along, too).
Of course I may have misunderstood the OP. I was thinking it was about assembling a "fantasy band" that you'd play in. If not, then I stand by the qoute of kinkstah's post.
