Anybody know of a stomp box that makes a solid body electric sound like an acoustic guitar? I need to have some acoustic tones in the same song as a solid body electric and a box would be cool if it sounded close enough.
I tried the new Roland strat and it does not come close. (my band tunes to Eb so I think that affected the Roland's tone)
Thank-you for any suggestions!

Boss AC-3 or AC-2 just make sure you set it up right and it will sound great.

^ Tone is subjective. I think the Boss unit sounds terrible, but its still better than most other pedals out there.

That Boss pedal is very poor (my opinion).
How about stepping on a chorus pedal that has a 12 string jangle dialed in?
Do you have a chorus pedal on your board?
Going from no chorus to moderate chorus might get you somewhere.

Used to play with a guy that had what was probably a pretty big treble bypass cap on his volume control. When he turned way down he got a cool, jangly sorta acoustic tone.

+1 on the Chorus. I've been doing that and it works for me. I tried the AC2. I like the chorus with the the neck pup better.

Might try an EQ pedal to knock some of the mids down.

plus the neck pickup, or neck and mid single coils of a strat, some reverb/delay and chorus- better than the ac3

An eq...tweaking.
also..
Boss made an (acoustic) simulator at one time in 80's...
or maybe one of those bbe products.
