Where to get Fender Tele necks?

Got a Fender 50's Reissue MIJ Tele. Don't like the 7.25" radius cuz too high and screws up my string bending (I'd prefer a flat fret board like a Les Paul). Want to get another Fender neck to solve the problem. I've heard that the newer Teles have a 9.5" radius (less of a radius) and may be all that I need to be satisfied. I also have to experience the C, U and V neck shapes to determine which I prefer. Anyway... my main question is... once I determine the radius and neck shape that I want... and I want a Fender neck, not a Warmouth, Shechter, etc., where do I go to get the best price on a REAL Fender Tele neck? Does it have to be the Fender Custom Shop (very expensive) or are there other less expensive sources?

Thanks in advance.

You'd have to buy it on eBay, and they are usually expensive.

Try the stratosphere on ebay.

I bought a few necks from Matt a couple of years ago at prices comparable to Warmoth, although it looks like much of what he has right now is "buy it now" and about $100 more than what I got at auction.

LOL:lol:

I would recommend him, I got a pile of pickups and a few necks from him, all great & genuine Fender or whatever, but I can't at those prices!

I would still try ebay, he can't be the only guy parting out new Fenders online.

Look for a Made in Mexico neck, I think they're every bit as good as the USA ones.

Just be happy with whatever you buy from them... don't expect them to do anything to make it right if it is not what they advertised.

+1 - best place to get Fender parts - very fair prices too (keep in mind that the prices are demand driven) - even better if you bid.

Seems to me that what you want does not exist unless you go with a Warmoth or USACG neck; You do realize USACG/Warmoth... are at least the same, or likely better, quality than what you will get with a "REAL" Fender neck don't you?

Either way, I love Fender necks - they are extremely well made - but not worth more than some of the after market necks.

Stratospheric prices is right. But, clearly the place to go if you MUST have a genuine Fender part.

Seems to me that you can get a neck or body at Warmoth or USACG of equal quality for about half his price.
