teisco et-400 pickups [Archive] - Telecaster Guitar Forum

I have a 65 Teisco ET-440. only 1 out of the 4 pickups are working. I get resistance from one of the pickups about 5.5K ohms...that is the one that works. The others just start there then go to 0. Does this mean the pickups are bad? The pickups are gray plastic molded ones and I do not see how the wrap could have broken....I do not believe there is any way to take this plastic molding off to re-wrap it. Seem to be one piece with the wire coming out one end. Anyone that knows any info in these would be helpful.

No experience with those pickups, I have used Curtis Novak to rewind / repair some vintage pickups before, he probably can tell you more about them, here's a link
