Hello, I just purchased a beautiful tele with these pickups in them. My amp is having trouble right now so I cannot test them out, they are Seymour Duncan pickups. I was wondering what model they were and what they are designed for (i.e. Blues, country, funk, rock). Thanks!

check the bottom, should have an ID label -- what make/model is your guitar?

General, big duncan lettering, is their value-ended p/u. Flat pole top..hmm
I could be wrong, but, IMHO..

I would upgrade...

wish you well

Where are you getting this info? Just so you know, it ain't correct.

You can special order SD products without the lettering, but stock, pretty much anything they make without a cover will have the logo on it. Also, anything that says Seymour Duncan on it is not "value ended". You may be confusing it with the imported "Duncan Designed" series.

Also, all humbuckers are flat poled. The screw poles are adjustable for height, the slugs are not, and are always flat with the exception of the Seymour Duncan "Stag Mag" which I don't believe is made anymore. It was specifically designed to mimic a staggered pole strat pickup when coil tapped.

OP- You pickup could be just about anything from the SD line. But don't worry, it's not a budget product, it's the real deal. Just unscrew the pickup mount it's attached to and flip it over. As was mentioned, it should have an ID label on the bottom of it with a model number. You can look that number up on the SD website and you'll have all the info you need.

Rock on!

Well its a bridge p/up because of how the lettering faces.Got an ohmeter? Go to the site and compare. The pots mess up the reading by a little so look for a slightly higher R value.
