Kenny Wayne Shepherd PUPS

Anyone know where I might source a set of KWS custom voiced pups? I have a KWS strat and really like the things and have a Frankenstrat I'd like to put some in. Don't want to rob the KWS strat and can't seem to find these anywhere as separate items. I saw one pup on flea-bay buts that is it so far.

I look at Strat p/ups often, and theres usually some listed.You can set up a keyword alert so you get an email,I think. Also STRATOSPERE ebay store parts Strats out.

Heard Kenny w Fripp,Vai,Satch. G4 tour I guess.He was perfect.Not an uneeded note.Not 1 note missing.(I came for Satch, Fripp and Vai to some extent) and hadn't heard Kenny. I was so impressed, I went to hear him in AC. He was awful,sloppy.Either drunk or on Opiates.But when hes good, he great...Ask one of the Vendor winders, they can probably recreate a tone if none of their standard p/ups have it. The pickups look nonbeveled.Do they have that "piano" attack? Whats the DC ohms.

Kenny's main guitar is a 61 strat (besides his siq guitars) & it's pickups (I believe are stock)
He does have that texas/SRV tone going on
I always figured Texas specials could get close to his tone for most of his music,
But there some nice glassy clean tone in some of his music ,which the TS pups might have trouble achieving it

I have a strat with Texas Specials and the KWS pups are as you say glassier cleans; which is what I want them for. Doing a lot of slow bluesy jazz stuff and I actually want to swap out a strat with overwound Alinco's for the KWS.

KWS was rumored to use Analogman TS9's w/silver mods. Still true? He sounds good to me.
