Replacement Pots for MIJ Tele...

Would anyone know which pots I should order to replace the split shaft, mini Alpha pots that came in my MIJ Jerry Donahue Tele?

I'd like to get full sized CTS pots (250K, audio taper) but don't want to change the knobs or enlarge the holes in the control plate. The mini Alphas have knurled shafts that are smaller than those on standard pots. Also, though the knobs are made to grab the knurled shafts, they also have set screws. I think I need to know the diameter of the mini Alpha shafts.

If the existing pots are Alpha the shaft should be 5.9mm compared with the CTS 6.0mm.
I've swapped strat push fit knobs from unbranded Chinese mini pots to CTS knurled. split with no problems.
Why not try the full size Alpha pots? The bush on them is the same as the minis at 8mm compared with the CTS ⅜" (9.5mm) which would eliminate the need to ream out the control plate holes.

When I updated the parts on my MIJ Tele I bought a replacement plate, 2 CTS pots, a CRL switch, new knobs that fit the solid shaft CTS pots and a new Orange cap.

In total I had spent a total of $45 (US) and took the original plate with all the controls and stored it.

The full sized Alpha pots might work, but I though there was a difference in size of the shaft diameter.

teleplayr -- I did this with another MIJ Tele, but I wanted to keep this one more or less intact, as it has a unique 5-way wiring set up.

I mistakenly bought some Fender branded split shaft CTS pots thinking they would work, but the knobs won't fit on them. I'm thinking that I should just use those with different knobs. Would anyone happen to know what Tele style knobs knobs would fit on the slotted CTS pots?
