reclaiming Telecaster voice

Hello all,
I'm delighted to find this site where those who are passionate about their Telecasters can share, learn, and connect with one another. My Tele, Dixie, and I have been together since 1979. I've been through a lot, music taking a back seat while life got in the way. Now my voice is returning.
Dixie is part of me. She speaks for me. Telecasters are solid, basic, very sensitive but darn powerful, open up auditory heaven and speak about hell. I've played with feedback and had revelations. Dixie, being a plank of hardwood, is also useful as a weapon. I adore her and she challenges me.
I have toys.
Anyone out there use Contact/control cleaner and lubricant? Radio Snack made it but there seems to be controversy as to it's usefulness. It's also hard to find. This stuff cleans crud and lightly lubricates electrical and sensitive parts on everything from my Bigsby Tremelo (which original owner bolted on) to printers to pots. Music store employees have not heard of it.
I truly look forward to hearing from everyone! And that exclamation point is NOT overkill.
Bye.

Welcome. Radio Shack still carries electronic cleaner with or without lubricant. (at least my Radio Shack does). You can also find Deoxit, carried by most parts supply sites.
I use cleaner lubricant on guitar and amp pots and switches.
For tube pins and sockets use the cleaner without lubricant. (Lubricant can build up and cause arcing)
