New Guy, with Strat

Well I haven't really played much over the last 5 years ( kids, work, life) but after selling all of my amps and all but 2 of my guitars ( a Fender Strat and an Ibanez RG) years ago, playing with no amp wasnt as much fun.

A few weeks ago I began clearing out stuff I dont use anymore and got to the guitars. I really don't ever want to part with my Strat , but decided to sell the RG to finance an amp purchase. Well I just can't sell it, I guess with the economy nobody's buying stuff on ebay anymore.

Anyway couldn't wait and went out and bought a GDEC this week as they are on sale.

I am really enjoying picking up my guitar again.

If I am ever able to sell the RG I am getting another Tele.

And when I make up my mind , a tube amp too.

welcome aboard floorabove ..I'm sure your story applies to half the guys on this forum..( probably make an interesting poll...Q. did you have to give up guitar playing to concentrate on family?)...my answer would be yes and I sold most of my gear as well...fortunately kids grow up and there's lots of guitars for sale..

Thanks. Maybe I can try to convince somebody here to trade Squier Tele for my Ibanez RG. LOL.

I almost pulled the trigger on a BLUES JRalready, but I want to see how much time I really spend with the GDEC.

And I REALLY miss my vox pathfinder 15R.
