My Pretty Tele

Normally I'd say I'm more of a plain guitar guy... but I got these in a trade.

A thinline body setup for P-90s and rear cavity. Mahogany back and a flamey maple top.
The neck is a flamey maple with a King wood fret board.

The body had some stain on it that I had to strip, scrub, sand, and bleach away before I got started. The neck was already finished with some stain and tru-oil.

after stripping etc.

then added some color, I used reranch die in water

I am not usually very keen on thinline teles, but this............this, oh yes, this is a great looking guitar! As above, great design on the PG as well as a lovely finish and good choice of colour.

The color has a very nice "depth" to it under that clear coat. Care to give any details into your finishing schedule, or what type of lacquer and number of coats you ended up going with?
