Duesenberg Multibender Installation Help

Hi there,

I'm kinda new to this forum but i've got a question I hope you guys can help me with. I bought the Duesenberg Multibender bridge to mount onto my Gretsch Electromatic Lapsteel guitar. I thought I could just install it by myself (they advertise the product like that) But now that i've got the bridge in front of me, i don't know how or where to start. I'm kinda startled about the amount of parts this device contains. Ive looked all over the internet to find a step by step guide on how to install this thing but couldn't find any. I'm afraid that if I just try and mount it, I might break something. The manual that is supplied with the bridge isn't very helpful to me.

Is there anyone here that has experience on how to mount a multibender onto a lapsteel (or how to mount it to a telecaster, i think that installation is the same) Could they please show me how they did it in a step by step guide? That would be really helpful!

thanks in advance!

David

Can't offer any help, but welcome and good luck with it.
Love the sound Phil Baugh got with the multi bender.

I to am interested in someday purchasing one these duesenberg multibender bridges to put on a lap steel. It's so difficult to play slide on my tele (and my action ain't that low).

Did you buy it from Thoman?

There are some players with these on youtube. Maybe you could drop them a note about the installation. Best of luck.

Yeah I got it from thomann, great service and quick delivery. I think I figured it out by myself, just need to drill some holes and i'm good to go. I'll post a picture (or a video) when it's done.
