I swapped the wah pot out in my old National (shin ei) fuzz-wah yesterday and must have put it in backwards. Now instead of wah-wah it goes haw-haw....
But seriously folks.
The pedal is old, early 70's vintage, and works all right. The new pot cleaned up the scratch in the wah, but the fuzz only works on one setting. It has a hi-low switch which doesn't seem to do anything, and neither does the fuzz adjustment pot. I found a loose pair of wires and after looking around the net I found a picture that kind of confirmed where I thought the wires should go (third leg on volume pot) but it didn't seem to make a difference. Actually the volume pot does work again, but not the fuzz pot or switch. I don't know if maybe I've soldered the wires in the wrong spot, or if I'm dealing with a dead pot and switch.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.
