Esquire wiring advice please

I have an Esquire partscaster I am assembling and I'm after ideas for the wiring scheme.
I definitely want volume and tone with greasebucket in the bridge (#1) position and Eldred cocked wah in the neck (#3) position. I have no idea what to do for the middle position!
I really don't need a straight to jack (I'm a ham-fisted bedroom hack), so I'm looking for some ideas. Maybe another cocked wah setting with different cap value?
I'm using a Tonerider Hot Classic.

On a different subject, is it possible to use a push/pull pot instead of the S1 switch on a 2 pup La Cab build and get the same result?

You can use a smaller value cap to get a milder mid boost for a darker, more humbucker type tone. 1 to 2 nf world do the trick.
