Feedback on Classifieds?

How do you leave feedback for classified transactions? I have purchased a bunch of things through the TDPRI classifieds, and I've sold a couple of things too. As far as I can tell, I have never received any feedback, and I've never left any either.

With things I've purchased, by the time the item arrives in my mailbox, the seller has deleted their ad, so I can't see any way to leave feedback for the transaction.

It looks like I'm just one more person confused by the "new" classified system.

I guess this is a separate issue, but I liked having all the categories on the first page. If I'm looking for a bridge pickup, all these pretty pics of amps, guitar straps, and other stuff tends to clutter up my navigation.

Also, in the past, I could buy and sell from the same people who I interacted with on the forum. Lately it seems like there are a lot of sellers who have little or no history on the forum.

The influx of large numbers of these "unknown sellers" combined with the confusing navigation and new appearance have kept me at arm's length with regards to buying and selling on TDPRI... At least until I figure it out.

I'm not a complete idiot, but I am a guitar player... :wink: :oops:

Thanks for reverting to the old classified format. It's much easier to navigate now.

I'm really not trying to be a Luddite, but I'm still wondering... How can I leave feedback for transactions I've conducted through the TDRPI classifieds?

The feedback system doesn't work as you would expect. You can only access the Classifieds profile when the seller actually has an item active on the Classifieds system.

Sorry, we keep telling the programmer for the company that produces the software that this is nuts, but they keep ignore our complaints.

To leave feedback for a seller you simply click on their username in the ad and go to their Classifieds profile. Then click on the Feedback link in the left hand column.

The problem with this is, that if the seller has no other items active in Classifieds you can't get to their Classifieds Profile.
