Just killer stuff! I heard this the other day and the fills really stood out.

Chance are it was a session musician from Nashvlle and they are sworn to secrecy.

I love the story this song tells because I had almost an identical thing happen with a girl in tight fittin jeans just like the one he describes. She was spoken for too and from the good side of the track, but as as addicted to me as I was to her.

She went for the money and I couldn't blame her, I'm glad she did and I got the best she had to give anyway. It wouldve just gone downhill from there, that's the beauty of it really, that I understand that. But I know she thinks back to those days and will forever too, while she's spending that money-lol!

Owen Bradley produced the record ... i'm not sure if the Nashville A-team still existed ... the early '80s was near the end of his producing career ...

I love this song! His last number one I think. The melody has some similarity to Wildwood Flower. The tele sounds like Don Rich a little. Might be 2 there. Twitty died of an Aortic abdominal hemmorage, same as Einstein. Twisty suffered his from singing I think. I've been listing to TFJ for a while, it has some deceptive twists and turns, an unusual arrangement. Great for jogging. Lyrically a bit gross.

Possibly Reggie Young? He was the go-to guy in Nashville in the 80's. One of my heroes :)
