TC Electronic Alter Ego

I didn't pull the trigger on one of these but am when PG gets them back in stock. I love delay & was curious about this one in particular with the Tone Print function & the Binson + DMM setting. Anyone tried one of these & your thoughts about it. Looking to buy one if you have & want to sell.

I have one. I already quite like the flashback, so when they offered a $20 discount when they first sold the AE's, I thought I'd try it out. Actually, I didn't really care for the new models though, so the 'switch' for me ended up only being cosmetic... I found the Binson to be a little to intense with the modulation for me. But still, I figured these won't be around for ever....if the flashback ever gets bumped off my board, the ego version will likely fetch a better prize on the used market as they are a lot more scarce.

I mainly use the Tape setting and right now I'm using a variation on the tape setting from a toneprint. It's really fun to try out toneprints using your iphone to switch them around - great idea.

Over all, it's a great delay (flashback in general).
