Best clear epoxy?

Before I go shopping, and go by packaging only (I have no experience with epoxy), I am wondering if anyone can recommend a perfectly clear epoxy for the knots on a pine body. I am doing a barn style tint, followed by a clear epoxy, for the knots, and then clear coat. I just want to make sure I get an epoxy that is 100% transparent.

There is actually an inexpensive epoxy at Lowe's that I use regularly that is 100% transparent. It's this stuff http://www.lowes.com/pd_74809-81093-20845_0__?productId=3152585&Ntt=epoxy&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl__0__s%3FNtt%3Depoxy&facetInfo=. I also use Z Poxy finishing resing for pore filling, but that stuff is much thinner and if your knot has any voids, it likely won't work quite as well. Of course, the System 3 stuff is probably better than the Devcon, but you also can pick the Devcon up locally for dirt cheap.

Devcon is really good stuff, however I would recommend getting the 30 minute version. I started using it several years ago for clear coating fishing plugs when I used to do custom paint jobs on those. Sets up very strong and is self leveling. I think the 30 minute would be better for this because it would stay liquid a little longer and do a better job of penetrating the knot. And it doesn't ever yellow, so your good there too.
