5F1 Grounding questions

Hey gang

I'm pretty excited, I just received my 5F1 kit from Dave at Boot Hill Amps and have been doing lots of research (including the Guitar Amplifier Handbook). I've been studying the various grounding methods and think I will go with Dave's ground bus style. I have a few questions though:

- It is ok for the AC cord and first filter cap to share a ground on the PT lug, yes?

- Can the center tap share that ground, or does it require it's own lug?

- Does the speaker jack require a dedicated ground or does it ground itself to the chassis automatically?

Thanks!

If noone answers soonish, I'll take the back off mine and look. I know on my AC4 I have the ac cord ground and PT Center tap (or whatever it's called) on one and the filament, B+, and filter cap grounds on another.
I remember on my champ attaching some lead to an unused pin on a tube....can't recall.
As for the speaker jack, you're right, the chassis is ground.

I don't use a PT lug. I drill a hole in the PT side of the chassis and use a 10-32 machine screw with toothed washers. It stacks toothed washer - AC cord ground - nut - toothed washer - transformer center taps - nut - toothed washer - capacitor bank ground-nut

- Can the center tap share that ground, or does it require it's own lug?

Works for me. I think UL wants to see a dedicated ground point for the power cord ground. Way I do it everything double-nuts everything else. Haven't had anything shake loose and I beat on my amps.

Connect the black wire from the PT to the ground lug on the speaker jack. Ultimately that connects it to the ground. The speaker will work isolated from the chassis. It won't work isolated from the OT.

Thanks, everyone here is extremely helpful.
