I am looking for suggesitons for pickups for a Godin Artisan TC. I am looking at noiseless. I picked up this guitar about a week ago and it really plays easily. Very nice and resonant. It is a basewood body with rosewood neck. Currently it has a Fender-Lace Sensor silver in the neck and a Lace Sensor Red in the bridge. The neck sounds fine. The Red is a bid harsh I think. The guitar has the original pots in it. I have the original Godin twin blade pickups that came with it but I have heard clips of guitars that have those and they are okay.
I was looking at Dimarzio Tone Zone S for the bridge and Perhaps a Pro Track for the neck. Also considered the Fast Track 1 for the neck for a more strat character. Let me know what you think would be a good match for this guitar.
Like I said the neck isn't bad but the Lace Red seems a little less organic or harsh at times but clear.
Edit: How are the orginal Godin blade pickups on these Artisans?
