Custom shop nocaster p/u

Any users please can you tell me your stories. Just seen an advert for these and think I would like to put them in my Baja. T

My brother has a set in his mongrel Tele (MIM 50s Tele body, Warmoth neck), and I do believe it's the best-sounding Tele I've ever heard. Plenty of twang and clang from the bridge (with no icepick) and the neck pickup is just delicious.

You can't go wrong with them. Two of the BEST Fender brand Tele pups are the Custom Shop Nocasters and the Original Vintage.

My '04 Chambered Ash Tele came with OV's, which I thought sounded great, but I was missing the hum-cancelling center position. I tried both Lollar Vintage T's, and Lollar '52 sets, and wasn't totally happy. I also put my Suhr's in there briefly, but they weren't a good match either. Finally I bought a set of used Nocasters here on the forum and was blown away. Now I have the tone I loved from the OV's, with a brighter neck pup, and the hum-cancelling center position that was lacking with the OV's. Save your money, and get a set of Nocasters--they have it all! (IMHO, of course)

I put a set of Nocasters in my CvBSB,along with a 4-way switch.They are simply the best
sounding p/ups in any of my Teles.

They are great, but so are the stock pups in the Baja.

Absolutely Telex, but I was thinking of an upgrade and maybe swapping out the S1 swithching as well....what you think?

Keep the S1 and set it up to put the pickups in series, Nocasters are killer in series..........just like having a neck humbucker.

I have one in the neck of my 70, balances nicely with the original pup at bridge ( although I am getting some real vol drop in middle position:confused:).

The Nocaster pup in the neck sings, not muddy at all.
