Does anyone by chance have a chord chart for Cosmic Cowboy or a suggestion for a link to a site that may have one. I've been looking but haven't found it yet.

This would save me about hour listening to the Dirt Band recording and picking them out by ear. Much appreciated is anyone has them.

No chart but it's E, Emaj7, A, Abm, F#m, E, A, B if memory serves.
Wildfire is same key and has similarities but includes a C#m.

The best E to use is the open one at 7th fret 079900 and Emaj7 078900

I hope this helps

God Bless you Richard. You just saved me an hour of listening Tele in hand working them out. He uses some nice passing chords and inversions and I wanted to get those. You da' man!!!

I'm way past havin' anymore kids but should an accident happen and it's a boy I'll name him after you. Would you prefer Richard or itchiray?

The latter might get him some gigs in Japan maybe????? LOL j/k

Thank you so much my friend.

I'd look forward to seeing how you're doing it as well getbent. I used Richards progression with those open chord voicing's where I could and it works out pretty well but I love variations on a theme. When you get a little time please do post your version as well.

The Dirt Band play Colorado often and I was listening to Jeff Hanna play it at a live gig but was too far away to see his hands and he used a lot of delay/verb and chorus so my ear was all I had to go by. I could hear him walk though a lot of passing chords and the turns around the A and B seem to change from verse to chorus so I'll listen to the recorded version to pick up some detail.

Thanks for your help guys. It's a great tune and I'd like to put it on our set list.
