j geils chord help

I play Looking for a Love with some guys. They play it in C like the J Geils band. When they play that chord sequence that goes down, it doesn't sound right. They play C-B-A-G-F. I think the B chord is actually a E7, but there is no tab for this tune, not even for BobbyWomack, the original singer. Any body know? or can help? Thank you in advance.. gn

The chords over that part of the chorus are C E7 (B is the 5th of E7) Am (Not A major) C7( with a G bass) F C. Your notes are okay for the bass, but the B and the A are wrong chords and the G is over a C7 chord.
