My Mrs got one hand made for me with the lyrics to Paul Weller's You Do Something To Me, etched into it.....you have to look closely to see it so it is subtle but I love it and have it on my Ric 330....what is yours?

I have a couple Couch straps I like. They're nothing special, just repurposed seat belts.

any of the higher quality planet waves straps. they are as comfortable as a strap gets, and they hold on so tight strap locks aren't necessary =)

Souldier straps.

Cool stuff, if sometimes pricey.

Thick, padded suede, with no buckles to scratch the guitar. Nice quality - but not so pretty that it's likely to be stolen. I don't like a fancy strap.......

I have a nice little fender licensed one that came with my Rock Band controller. Works wonderfully on my telecaster, less so on my new guitar. It kinda slides off the strap button on the upper bout.

I'm really liking the MONO Betty straps, padded and comfy, pick pocket, made from recycled materials and available in xtra long. Have 3 of them so far..

I have one fashioned out of the Lock Ness Monster's skin and the leather ends are made from the one and only Big Foot's hide.

Just kidding I have a blue monogrammed Fender strap that I love. And about the strap complimenting the guitar . . . does baby blue compliment 3TSB???

Black Ernie Ball Polypro.

I can't get enough of these things, they're the longest, strongest, most comfortable and best value for money.

Plain, simple and classy.

I have one of those fancy vintage style leather Fender ones too for when I feel like pretending to be Steve Cropper.

Picked up a custom made guitar strap a few years back, fashioned out a thickly weaved tapestry?
Yeah, sounds weird, but actually it is quite beautiful.
My 22 year-old daughter has fallen in love with it though, so I'll probably be in the market for a new strap soon.

I've always been an old softy for youngest child.

I recently bought a few Planet Waves leather straps that have silver conchos on them, and one with a large silver buckle. I have been using them a lot lately and really like that look. I also have Planet Waves beatle and Who straps I like.

I went through a phase where I was buying weird sh** graphic straps. One day, I realized I owned about two straps, so I went on a buying spree and bought too many. A few weeks ago, I actually threw out about 6-7 straps I knew I'd never use again, like the one with Egyptian pharoah skulls. I tried selling it on eBay and nobody wanted it. I have a few more that are getting the heave-ho soon. Anybody here who wants a few free straps, PM me.

I try and rotate straps as to not wear any out. I also put vintage pinback buttons on some of them to dress the plainer ones up.

Just inexpensive Fender Tweeds for my Tele's and a wider more padded PW on my bass. I'm not big on fancy straps myself but I admit some of them are beautiful, especially some of the hand tooled leather ones.

I've been using a black Levy's DM2 for my Les Pauls for about a decade now:

http://www.levysleathers.com/img/prod/4cf67b45b535f.jpg

I used to use the Gibson seatbelt lightning bolts, they're backups now. I got the lightning bolt straps because that's what Rivers Cuomo used to use, not because that's what Ace Frehley uses...though, he used it because Ace used it, but I don't like to think about that, because I can't stand KISS.

For my Telecaster (and my HK Strat), I use this thing:

http://hellokittyjunkie.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/21_fender_hello_kitty_guitar_strap.jpg

I use this for my Jazzmaster:

http://www.levysleathers.com/img/prod/4ce6a4af0a973.jpg

I definitely like the DM2 the best, the only reason I don't use it for everything is that I've always associated the lightning bolt thing with Gibsons, and I don't like using it with my Fenders.

On one of the other strap threads, somebody posted a picture of their Levy's "golden sun" strap. Later I saw one at my local shop, I couldn't resist it - now it's my favorite.

Yeah, I find it difficult to like many graphic straps. I generally lean toward plain soft leather or woven. That one just pops on that guitar though, and I really like it.

Can't stand suede... every time I move, it bunches up my shirt. Gotta look good for the babes.

Got a couple of really nice wide padded leather straps and a cool 50's vintage style as well but the work horse is a black Ernie Ball Polypro. With a Grolsch beer red rubber gasket as a strap lock. Sorry, no conchos on the EB...

Plain brown leather 3" LM strap with Sure Lock on my Tele. My ~15 year old strap just broke a lock 'tab' LM said they'd put new ones on for free. Cool. I love that strap.

Plain 2-2.5" brown leather for a flattop, no lock.

Tried suede & yeah, it stuck like glue...too much stick.

I have met Jodi a couple of times, delivering her straps to NY stores. I told her I like and use her straps, and give them as gifts. But I have to say that I like all the tattoos!

Some of her straps benefit 'the Best Little Cat House in PA', which is cool.

I've been using the 3" Levy's garment leather strap for a few years now. Pretty good stuff! I've got a 2" Levy's nylon strap for my acoustic, and it's nowhere near as good as the leather ones. Just orders one of their 2 1/2" suede straps for the acoustic, hopefully will cure the massive neck dive my Martin has.

Plain brown leather 3" LM strap with Sure Lock on my Tele. My ~15 year old strap just broke a lock 'tab' LM said they'd put new ones on for free. Cool. I love that strap. Update: I sent the strap off to L&M and for nothing but the cost of mailing it to them--about $5.00--I got my 3" strap back with new locking pieces and I'm in small heaven because with that wide, light and non-grabbing strap my Fenders are bascically 'not there' as far as my shoulder is concerned.

Very impressed with L&M customer service.

I have a couple nice "Medina" leather straps that my wife got me. I use them for my 50's and 60's Classic Teles.

Outside of that, I pretty much use plain black woven Levi's straps. Not the nylon ones though...too slippery. I like the cloth ones with the suede ends. They're sturdy, classic lookin' and everything is uniform. I'm funny that way. When somethin' works.....I stick with it.
