Hot To Trot

Hi Guys,,I have the small Pro Jr. and a man told me that he puts 10" household
fan about 3 feet behind amp to cool tubes.Is he defeating some purpose of the
amps performance by doing this??Are those amps supposed to run that hot?:shock:

a fan is not really needed or they would have built one into the amp ... sort of overkill, but it won't hurt the performance or sound, IMO ...

It won't make much difference. I've done it for hot outdoor shows though. Be careful where you plug the fan in cuz they can add some noise.

Go to billms site and check his bias mod. Pro and blues juniors tend to be way overbiased. It may cool things down a bit.
