Hello TDPRI!

I joined the community a few days ago and decided to introduce myself before I started posting.

My latest (and primary) guitar is a 2011 American Standard Tele. I also recently upgraded my amp to an Egnater Tweaker 40 head + Orange cabinet. I am thoroughly loving both!

I jam weekly with a friend who plays a Les Paul. He spends a lot of time on mylespaul.com. I figured I would seek out the Tele equivalent so here I am!

Of course tdpri > mylespaul... right?

Welcome,
You'll get a ton of good info here, as well as make lots of friends who all share the same passion and interest for Teles.

Greetings from Ontario. Some of my siblings were born in Alberta, but I've never been there. Looks nice in pictures though.

Thanks for the greetings everyone...

I'm already finding a lot of useful threads here. I have mostly been lurking the theory/technique area.

I have played for 9 years so I'm very comfortable with gutiar, but I'm looking to improve my picking accuracy/speed as well as start learning finger picking. Afterall, there's always something to work on or improve.

See you around the forum!

Hey Nigel, welcome. This place has greatly increased my level of enthusiasim, I hope it does the same for you.

Spent a week goose hunting near High Prairie, Alberta a few years ago, and last spring did a week long fly-in fishing trip out of Points North, Sask. I love your country!
