I am putting a SSS MIM Strat back together after a strip & clean job & would like some advice. I am adding the Superstrat wiring/switches mod, but have some choices on where to install 2 pickups. I will have a Lace Blue in the neck slot, but have a Lace Red & a Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 Bridge humbucker (Didn't know it was a bridge model, but SD said it is). The SD is a single slot style, so it can go anywhere. I have had the Lace Red in the bridge & the SD in the middle previously, but am curious about switching them around. I may even move the Lace Blue, if it is recommended. BTW I am thinking about wiring this for 3 volume controls instead of having tone controls. The Superstrat switch configuration will allow each P/U to be on, off or reverse phase. When I determine which sounds are the most usefull, I'll probably replace the 3 position switches with just on/off toggles to simplify things. Anyway, anyone have any insight on the placement of these p/u's please chime in. I don't gig with this & mainly try to play jazz, rock with cleaner rather than dirty sounds. Using a Mustang amp & Floor with Fuse, so no telling what settings I will end up using
