So the other day I purchased a BBE Mind Bender (analog chorus/vibrato pedal) and waited patiently in the mail for it to arrive. It finally got here today so I plugged my tele in, playing with just this pedal and gave it a whirl. I could tell pretty much instantly that the pedal sounds awesome; both the chorus and vibrato effects. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else who was using this pedal has any ideal settings that they like to use to dial in certain tones for any particular songs, and also what other effects/amp settings they like to use to get the most out of the pedal. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Try it BEFORE overdrive/distortion to get a Van Halen-esque "filthy warble" in Chorus mode or a pissed-off Leslie in Vibrato mode.
Also trying combining it with a phaser to get a Univibe-like sound, and putting it AFTER any delays or echos you have for some trippy effects added to your repeats.
Have fun!

I had one for a couple of hours. It sounds good live, but not for recording. Kick it on and without playing playing guitar, a buzzing whir is coming through the amp.

I tried out these placement ideas and have to say that I liked them quite a bit. Putting the analog delay in front of the mind bender in particular really seemed to create a very nice tone for me to play "run like hell" through. Worked very well using the middle pickup to get a nice punch, which wasn't too much twang or too much neck pickup for that later era floyd sound. Although I do have to agree with another poster than the mind bender can in fact create some unwanted buzz noise though the amp. Hopefully it wont end up being much of a problem though.

I do not have this particular chorus/vibrato, but I have vibrato in my Wilson Haze. And it sounds so cool with EQD bit commaner. I think, that it would work with any fuzz+ octaver. Very nice synth sound.
