Just first thoughts, sounds like a lot of melodic or harmonic minor, with some diminished stuff mixed in. Then the whole 'hendrix' thing towards the middle of the song. Wow, this is great man! In fact I did transcribing work for them on Fareed Haque's Jazz/Rock course-such a great course. Check it out http://truefire.com/jazz-guitar-lessons/jazz-rock-workshop/ That was some serious transcribing though! Holy Moly. Fareed is about as exact rhythmically as you can get-and really killing. That's cool re the tab, I might still transcribe that one myself since it's so cool man!
