NPD - Really Stiff Footswitch

I'm having a ball with my Dunlop Eric Johnson Fuzz Face, it's heavenly. But... the footswitch is pretty darn stiff. Like, stiff enough that I might end up stomping 2 or 3 times when once should suffice.

Any tips? Thanks in advance! :-)

wow. That's pretty stiff.
Maybe just stomp it a bunch of times before you have to use it.
Kinda like stretching before working out.

Turn the pedal upside down for a while. Maybe the switch didn't get properly lubricated. Let gravity help out a little.

OR contact Dunlop and make them send you a replacement pedal?
