Hi, I have this question, hope you can help me...
I have this LP Junior I madeand sadly is a neck heavy guitar, it dives slowly towards the floor. I though about relocating the strap pin that is on the back, where the neck meets the body, to the upper horn, do you think this can help? Other option is make a stainless steel plate to go inside the control cavity and put in between the body and the circuitry.
Also I though about putting some steel behind the pickguard, but I really dont know. Would I have some issue with the electronics? Do you have any other solution??
Thanks a lot
Alberto

What kind of strap are you using? A leather strap with the underside left raw leather will stop the strap from sliding across your shoulder.

Oh yeah... I don't like strap buttons on the back of the heel because it makes the guitar want to lean out away from me.

Moving the front strap button nearer the headstock will help most. Adding weight to the body can help, but is more difficult. Adding weight nearer the rear strap button is better than under the pickguard.

http://www.neckheavy.com/

there are also little weight blocks that screw under your rear strap button to counter balance a heavy neck- just couldn't find the link

The Axe Balancer (http://www.notreble.com/buzz/2011/06/18/the-axe-balancer/)- same inventive genius- Joe Naylor- I'm sure you can find him in the vendor forum here....
