Why can't I see my profile pic?

Why can't I see my profile pic when posting? I can see it in the user control panel - 'Your Current Profile Picture' but not when I'm posting.

Your profile picture is only visible in your profile. If you want it to appear on your posts upload it as your avatar.

Click User CP on the blue bar, near the top of the page. Look at the menu on the left and Scroll down to Settings & Options, then click Edit Avatar.
