Ronkirn April 28th, 2012, 01:19 PM In San Fran there's gotta be an Ace Hardware.... they have a great selection of Stainless steel screws... cost about 10 cents each.... Ron Kirn fezz parka April 28th, 2012, 01:26 PM Yep. Ron's on it. The hardware store. xtrajerry April 28th, 2012, 01:44 PM I'm lucky have a fastenal store 5 mins from home.. johnnyaquanet April 28th, 2012, 02:19 PM I can't usually find these small screws at hardware stores but I'll check it out again. That would be allot easer. johnnyaquanet April 29th, 2012, 10:30 AM Well I found some at my Hardware store that are really close but my strat is a Japanese "Fernandes" so I guess I'm going to need a metric size? Any ideas were to find screws that will fit a Fernandes? Thanks again! Ronkirn April 29th, 2012, 10:37 AM Hey Johnny, anyone carrying screws today will have both...SAE and Metric...get up and go to the hardware store,.. or if you prefer you can order 'em from McMaster-Carr Ron Kirn johnnyaquanet April 29th, 2012, 10:59 AM McMaster looks like they would have them thanks!! But do you know what size I need? Ronkirn April 29th, 2012, 01:41 PM But do you know what size I need? that's why it's to your advantage to go to the hardware store.... they have guys that can get you what ya need.... even Home Depot's and Lowe's have a pretty good selection. rk fezz parka April 29th, 2012, 04:11 PM Take a saddle with ya. boris bubbanov May 4th, 2012, 11:52 AM Take a saddle with ya. Yeah. The Hardware is more likely to have the M3 that may use, than the 4-40 that Callaham and FMIC AVs and CSs use. I am finding just within the last few years, fewer and fewer of the genuine hardware stores have a full selection of stuff, especially Imperial. |
