You Are On TITANIC With Your Guitar Collection...

Alright, you are aboard TITANIC with all your guitars. Obviously, the ship's crew will allow you to take only one guitar with you in the lifeboat.
Which one?

My 25 year old Strat.
She has been with me the longest and always seems to do everything right. Incredible guitar.

Time to think outside the boat...

They float. So lash them together and tow them behind the boat

This thread is absolutely ridiculous, there are many people on board that can not fit on the life boat. Get each person to bring one of your guitars into the lifeboat. Then push all the people off of the life boat, problem solved and innocent lives saved.

well im somewhat honor bound to save my six string banjo, for one i inherited it from a WWII vet who wanted me to have it and its survived 100 years on this earth so far (it was actually made a year before the titanic so it couldve actually survived it ) so it kinda deserves to make it on that boat, but i would be hard pressed to leave my epiphone masterbilt acoustic behind, i kinda hated that guitar but i fought it and conquered it and now it is probably one of my best sounding instruments. this is an unsolveable dilemna that would require me to push someone off the lifeboat

I'm on the Titanic? knowing it will hit an iceberg? I'd be doing something about that , forget the guitars! You're taking the right tack here - as far as doing something about it, I'd take my trusty tele by the headstock, walk to the bow of the ship, raise it over my head and hurl it, end over end at the approaching iceberg. When the guitar hit the iceberg, the iceberg would cleave in two, allowing safe passage for the Titanic - because that's the way Leo designed it.

ummm titanic sunk in 1912, no one's got any teles or strats and les paul doesnt exist for another 3 years. Here are your options from that year at least:

None of our guitars existed when TITANIC went down so how could we have them aboard? That's the card you are playing?
Dude, forget our guitars, NONE OF US HERE existed when TITANIC went down. That's an easier card to play.

I'd let them sink too - and make some more.

It's that big fat diamond of Rose's I'd be grabbing.

Actually, on second thoughts, I'd grab Celine Dion by the hair and jump overboard.

Why would you keep a Steinberger .]

Those who have never played one do not know.

This for me was the most no-brain scenario ever. My Steinberger L2 bass OF COURSE is the only one going into the lifeboat with me.

They don't float though, so if I gotta steal a life jacket from one of you guys to keep her, well...sorry about that.

But honestly I own nothing that cannot be easily replaced.
