Thinking about making a kill switch pedal so I don't have to turn my amp down to unplug something without buzzing. It sounds simple, and how would I go about doing this?

A single pole switch between signal and ground will suffice. ludashoeless April 27th, 2012, 06:07 PM Yes! A single pole switch between signal and ground will suffice. single throw or double limbe April 29th, 2012, 01:49 PM You can for instance use a (part no.P-110-P) Carling Single Pole Single Throw Switch (SPST switch) price 6 USD or a (part no.P-112-P) Carling Single Pole Double Throw Switch (SPDT) price 8 USD at Tube Depot. The P-112-P is the same switch as the Dunlop ECB-69 which is the original switch for a Crybaby and might be easier to find.It could also be cheaper in some stores. The most important thing is that the switch is sturdy enough to step on. Good luck! ludashoeless April 29th, 2012, 01:56 PM thanks |
