I know there is a gazillion threads about this topic but I can't seem to find it.

I have 2 push / pull pots that I want to put in my road worn tele. It has the standard single coils.

Can I use two push / pull pots ? And what can I make them do? Does anyone have any wiring diagrams that I could use?

I didn't know if I could do some kind of phase / parallel switching on the o e or both, or have the other one be a solo switch?

Basically I want to use both push / pulls and want to know all of the options that are out there for single coils.

Thanks in advance.

You can use the pots as "normal" pots even if you don't want the push/pull facility itself.
If it was me I would be tempted to have the volume set up so that the "down" position was a bypass straight to the basic controls, and the "up" position led to the push/pull on the treble knob which I would set with one position going through a .047 cap which then went to ground to act as the "bassy" sound as found on early teles, and the other position put a .0047 or .01 cap in line to give a "cut-glass" sound. Rickenbacker used a similar system on their late '50s 650 and 850 models, the diagrams are available on their corporate site.
