Is it possible to put a blue Lace sensor in the neck pos. and a Duncan Antiquity in the bridge pos. ?

The only Lace pickups that would have trouble like this would be if you used their Alumitones, since they have less than 1/3 as much resistance as a normal pup. They would have to be put in parallel, I think. But the sensors are just single coils with an extra piece of metal on either side, which to me is basically what the covers on the tele neck pup are. Albionic April 26th, 2012, 04:07 PM I have a lace in the bridge and a Kent Armstrong in the neck I did have to swap the polarity of the Kent as they seemed to cancel each other out in the middle position but having done that all was well. |
