I have enough credits on iTunes to pick up a couple of albums. Which work of Jim's should I pick up next? What are your must have Campilongo albums? (I have "Orange" and both Little Willies albums.)

My favorite is the first one- Jim Campilongo and the Ten Gallon Cats.

I always enjoy his sideman stuff more than his solo work (i.e., Little Willies, which is a Norah Jones project).

+1 on the Willies, check out the latest Little Willies album. Jim's last solo album "Orange" is also well with pickin up.

I'd suggest "American Hips"

I like Jim's subdued, jazzier side, so "Table for One" is my favorite...

Other than the ones you already have (all of which I really like) I like the first Ten Gallon Cats album and Loose.

I like full records as well, but I'd use those credits to get a bunch of stuff from Jim's exceelent and varied output. Pick a couple tunes from each CD, and search some of his sideman stuff. Put together your own "best of". What a player. He's so inspiring. I may go to New York later this year. I'd like to time it according to when he will be at one of his regular engagements

I need to get everything Jim has ever done.

This is my favorite video on youtube, I'm Hellen Keller and You're a Waffle Iron

Jim is the only reason I would ever want to visit NYC.
