Hello everyone,
My name is Vic Poulin and I just found this site yesterday. Fantastic site !!!
A little about myself.. I started playing at the age of 9, was in a few different high school bands/garage bands ect. But like many, turned my interest to girls and the guitar took a back seat. I got married to my wife at age 18 and had to set my sights on raising a family. I still messed around playing my guitar at home and with family, and began teaching my son at age 11.
In 2004 at the age of 34 our son was in a bad car accident and broke his neck in 3 places. This left him a total quad with no movement what so ever. We couldn't see him going into a full time nursing home, so we decided to give up our jobs and bring him back home to live with mom and me, and be his full time care providers. Things have gone well for almost 8ys now, and we have no regrets what so ever.
I have a lot of free time on my hands in the afternoons when my son Joe naps, so decided it was a great time to pick up the guitar again. I'm quite rusty but I'm having a blast reliving my youth lol.
I think this site is great, and hope to get to know a lot of you.
I can see that I'm going to be spending way to much time here lol :lol:
