Cool!! Tim is kind of a local hero around these parts (TDPRI I mean). I think he lives in Seattle. He's a great player and it's cool to see him doing a series of Rockabilly lessons.

Thanks.

Excellent guitarist. I'm saving up to take a few Skype lessons from him.

I already know how to do Skype. I wonder if he also gives guitar lessons.

Hmmmm...I sense a pulling motion on my leg.

But, yes, he does give lessons via Skype. When I checked into it on his homepage last summer they were $85 per hour.

I don't think I pay $85 for a Skype lesson from anyone. Being in the same room is important for a guitar lesson.

Hi Guys, Thanks for all of your nice comments. I appreciate the interest in my teaching and playing. I do give lessons via skype and I charge $65 for a hour. Skype isn't for everyone and I can understand the reluctance some may have but under the right circumstances I think it can be very helpful especially if you have specific questions and can't find a person locally who can help you. anyway, just wanted to chime in on the skype thing and clarify the price.
There may be a few more Rockabilly lessons in the pipeline at Jetcitymusic.com and they have a series of Jazz lessons in the cue as well. I have a new DVD coming out on Hal Leonard soon as well as some other stuff in the works. Thanks again for your interest in my stuff.
all the best

Tim, my apologies for misquoting your lesson price! Ya hit yer '60s, the memory banks don't always work right!

No doubt Skype is a good alternative for some, or some things. Thanks for letting us know the correct price.

Wow, cool to have Tim here on the TDPRI. I've been a huge fan of his YT vids, some of the most tasteful (and tasty) playing I've heard.

I'd also like to thank Tim for promoting the Lollar 52 pickups--his clips led me to purchase the Lollar 52 bridge and I couldn't be more satisfied, just an incredible pickup that does it all (proving once again that you don't need an overwound pickup to ROCK).
