Got a chance to pick one up for a buckfiddy at a pawn shop. Maple board and natural finish. Any good? Or should I pass? Don't know nothing about them.

How much? Wyzsard April 23rd, 2012, 02:41 PM Do you mean T15? I've never heard of a T150. T15's are short scare with Ferrite (kind of P90) pickups. Great little guitars. How much? Pawn store wants $150 for it and it seems clean. studio1087 April 25th, 2012, 05:58 PM That's a solid deal. Get it. Do they have the plastic case?? TelecasterBlooz April 26th, 2012, 01:50 AM Naw, they don't. If I get it I'm gonna bring one of my gig bags to take her home. I play mostly Blues/Rock with the occasional foray into Hard Rock/Metal. Good for this yes no? Jeranhound April 26th, 2012, 02:04 AM P90s and the like are usually used for Punk music, but you can probably find a pair of mini humbuckers to fit it if you don't like the sound of it. Good for this yes no? If it's all original including the Peavey knobs and everything works, then yes it's worth 150.00. I see 3 or 4 of them a year on the local cl with the case for 150-200. I wouldn't give 150 for one if it had any issues at all. If you are patient, you'll probably find a minty one with the amp case for around 200-225. jmo |
