Stupid Shirt Open Mic Guy

Met the coolest guy the other night at an open mic. I did my few songs and was finishing up when this guy came in. I could tell he was pretty impressed by what he heard -- this guy was clapping his head off! So I walked up and introduced myself afterward, as I try to do with all my fans.

It was so weird.

It was like seeing an old friend even though we had never met. Instant chemistry!

I could tell he was wanting me to sit in with him on his set but not being a glory-hound I just played my bongos from the front row.

Do you believe in musical soul mates?

PS. I did patronize him a little about this stupid shirt he was wearing, like "Hey, nice shirt" :roll: and I think he took me serious. Whatever.

Still I can tell we're going to be besties.

Are they vintage bongos? What kinda wood, how long you been playin', did you build 'em yourself, get 'em on craigslist, ebay, in a dumpster? Have you ever found a Tele in a dumpster? Do you live in a dumpster? Are you in love, or?

Are those REAL bongos? I mean, are those Cuban bongos? Or are those Sears bongos?

Its only a proper Bongo if its US made.
