Forgot about that one! Yeah, I was looking at one of Endangered Audio Research kits for the Gristleizer. Never tried my hand at building a pedal, but I can solder. How hard can it be? famous last words:lol:

Well, I got the EAR Gristleizer. I am freaking exstatic! At first I was like,"hmm , is this all it does?" Then you start realizing how the Bias and Depth work together, and with the Frequency and your particular guitar circuit and your amp circuit. By itself you can get a great range of sounds, it really is like an instrument unto itself, but working with other effects is like opening up internal galactic exloration. The old "as above , so below" equation. It becomes a very intuitive process, but the Gristleizer allows plenty of tools for sound architecture. It plays really well with other pedals, and the integrity of the sound is top notch. Even on very subtle modes, the slight enhancement to your sound is very pleasing, from filtering, to boost, to chaos, its a very organic effect. 5*, worth every cent. I'll try to upload a clip later, even if it's just off a digital hand recorder.
