I run sound at a music venue and recently started a photo blog documenting bands' gear as they come through and play the club.

(some of the bands - No Age, Cults, The War on Drugs, Thee Silver Mt. Zion, This Will Destroy You, Bass Drum of Death)

Very Interesting. ive been looking for info on indie bands setups for quite some time (especially Cults) but could never find any solid info on how they got their sound, although it wasn't really shocking when i found out what they used. fender guitars, vox amps and lots 'o' reverb pedals it looked like. thanks for sharing

Very cool. Lots of nice pedals, but plugged in to crappy amps. I do not understand. Not surprised to see all the dano's, the Reissues are a bargain. All those teles look gross minus the butterscotch blonde. If I needed more than 6 pedals I would just go for a pod hd 500.

Awesome photos. I'm a huge fan of indie and punk music and one of my favorite parts of going to shows is seeing all the uncommon, quirky equipment used by the bands. I guess all that stuff has affected my gear purchasing habits unconciously because after getting into this music I've gone from stereotypical metalhead equipment (Ibanez guitars and stuff like that.) to a mahogany thinline tele, a doublecut les paul copy and a tweed peavey classic 30.
