Pickup Woes

Just replaced the pickups with True velvets with a true velvet strat middle pickup (nashville configuration). The bridge - mid combination sounds somewhat weak and thin. Other than reversing the leads, anything else I need to check. Is in likely that this is a phasing issue with pickups from the same manufacturer?:confused:

Strats and Teles are often opposite. As well as Tele and Tele. From the same maker.
