You all might have seen my American Standard Tele with all the Hipshot stuff on her... a B bending bar and G bending lever, plus three drop tuners that will allow me to be in open G. Basically the whole shebang.

I ordered a Callaham bridge and that helped a lot, also I used the Micro Tilt on the neck to give more angle. It all worked as I'd hoped, and now she is a great playing little guitar. Not just for purposed on bending, which I'm still not very good at, but just for normal guitar work. I have to say, the Callaham bridge really does seem to add a lot of quality to the sound. I hate to repeat hype but... I hear what I hear.

I still have doubts about the Hipshot stuff holding its tune, though. It seems to be a little jumpy, but then again, the strings are new, and they aren't exactly all that stable yet either. I'll see as the week progresses. I hope it all works out well, though... I love being able to jump into open G that easily.

I can say, although I didn't play to use such an expensive bridge, I'll be getting another Callaham for my other Tele. And I'll tell you all about it here!

going through the holes with the nylon pieces. Were the holes already in the bridge or did you have to drill them. My main Tele is an '83 top loader and I'd like to try another bridge that'd work for it. Also, cool Tele and good luck with it...Thanks....JH in Va.
