Yeah, pretty darn amazing technology. . . I was half hoping he was gonna say, at some point, "Help us, Obi Wan" .

Pretty incredible. Who knows where this is going -- maybe we'll be able to see Hendrix play again someday?

Yeah, can we use that technology on somebody else, please...

Wow!
Mortality mixed with Eternity.
Tupac kinda floats at times and that adds to the vibe.

I got the same feeling I did as a kid after seeing the Houdini movie with
Tony Curtis. (yea, schlocky!!). The scenes where his wife was trying to
contact his spirit put me into that netherworld. Creepy but interesting.

Ok, after a bit more research I no longer believe the projection to be a true hologram but 2D projection technology of a CGI image. Time will tell . . .

Actually I think soon they will be using this technology on living bands for increased profits, Nickelback will have at least seven world tours going on at once.

I think I may be one of about 4 people on this board who enjoyed that...and I thought it was pretty awesome.

I believe you may be right.
You figure out which half of the post I'm referring to:wink:

That was neat. I wish I could find a video that did it justice, must have been amazing to see in person. I'm not a big rap fan, but Tupac had some great songs. I listen to him quite often when I'm running.

I like some hip hop, and I grew up listening to Dre, Snoop and Tupac.

However, I think this is horrible; the man is dead, let him lie. There is also nothing live about this, if you like Tupac, listen to a recording of him when he was alive. If you didn't get to see him live when he was alive, guess what, you missed out, tough ****. There are countless bands I would have loved to see but its not going to happen.

What's to stop this from happening?

^^^^^ Love that poster!

I enjoyed the 2nd rap with Snoop, but the whole production was underwhelming for me. Slightly freaky, and too, disembodied?

Was looking forward to viewing the video after all the news it was making in the music world. Meh but with good rap with bad words.

Alice in chains are still together

As are The Allman Brothers Band. But both have deceased members.

I think you would lose some of the impact from G.G. Allin... It's tough to capture the essence of a grown man rolling around in his own **** on a projector...

That must have been incredible live wether you like rap or not.
And to ifallalot: How could you forget Srv? But other than that, it seems like a great list.
