So what 12 string did you end up getting? I can't listen to music at work.

i did some horse trading and ended up with a MIC Alvarez... still want an old Yamaha, but this will do for now. :-)

Unless you've got Leadbelly or Leo Kottke genes somewhere in your DNA, that Alvarez is probably all the 12 strings you'll ever need. I get my 12 string out for about a week every few years and spend as much time restringing it as I do playing it.

lol, yeah i'm just a ham fisted strummer... i'm working on a little band project with some friends and i want to use a 12 on a few songs... i think this will get it done.
