I first heard Shelton's stuff on the Monkees tv show. A lot of stuff that people think is Glen Campbell, is actually Louie Shelton, though Campbell did play on a lot of stuff. Here's Shelton pullling off, and hammering on, some great chickin' pickin', and I had to include the Monkees "Valerie", I like the song and it has a lot of intresting guitar, I mean, what the hell, ....

I liked Louie's production and guitar work on the Seals & Crofts albums in the 70's .... Shelton was very good.
