One of the clipping sections has two red LEDs.
How are they orientated? Negative leg to the square pad or positive leg to the square pad?

Shouldn't matter, there are two of them, right? Just make sure each one is flip-flopped from the other. Just put the negative leg in the square pad and you'll be good.

I have the positive lead in the square on mine and it works great. You may be able to see it in my pic below.

That's what I thought it should be but wasn't sure.
JD from GGG confirmed longer leg of LED to square pad.
Thanks for the pic

Im putting it together for a friend. He prefers to keep it stock for the most part.
I think i have enough parts on hand to do the mods as per the GGG sheets if he should want. Might just surprise him

This is such a great pedal. I did the Expensive Boutique Mods & switchable clipping modes, and it's worked out to be an AMAZING boost pedal in the "diode lift" mode, with the drive turned right down & the level turned right up. It's not a pure clean boost, it's more like a "juicer"... a boost without too much dirt, but with that classic tubescreamer juice. It's spectacular in that mode. I don't end up using the pedal much for "dirt" at all after I found that setting!

I agree completely. My favorite TS for sure.

Here is a pic of my completed pedal.
Its8 on left. Stratoblaster "coppertone" on right.
